Meet Melony

Hi, I’m Melony Williams. I'm glad you decided to visit me. If we’ve already met, you know I’m someone who leads with heart, listens with care, and never gives up on what matters most, people.

I was born and raised right here in Tampa and graduated from Hillsborough High School. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of teaching, mentoring, and guiding both children and adults, whether in Sunday School, the classroom, or the community. These moments have deepened my love for our families, strengthened my connection to our neighborhoods, and fueled my passion for our city.

I proudly served our country for over 29 years in the United States Army, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. That journey shaped not only my career but also my character. It taught me discipline, courage, respect, and what it truly means to serve with purpose. Through both challenges and victories, I developed a steady leadership style rooted in the Army values, values I still live by today.

My experiences, both personal and professional, have grown me into a servant leader with strong conservative values and a heart for faith, family, and community. I’ve led diverse teams, managed complex operations, and invested in people at every level. My education, in and out of uniform, has sharpened my skills, but it’s my love for people and my desire to make a difference that continues to drive me to serve.

I care deeply about our city, our state, and our nation, and I’m committed to building a future that honors our past while preparing for what’s next. With faith as my foundation and service as my mission, I hold close to our state motto: “In God We Trust,” and to our city’s guiding vision for progress: “Transforming Tampa’s Tomorrow,” the strategic plan that drives sustainable, inclusive growth and meaningful change for every community.
